We loved Bink and Slinky's Ark Adventure, so we were excited to hear about the latest adventure for the snails. The Pyramid Adventure didn't disappoint. The rhymes were catchy, as usual, and the accurate storytelling made the biblical story come alive. I love how God leaves the snails little notes, and so in turn, they leave slimy notes for Joseph. What a testament to how the body of Christ can be God's voice. The little notes of scripture and teaching points at the back of the book were helpful and would be a great resource for caregivers reading to young children. I also appreciated the 'nod' to the first book when the snails and camel recognized each other.Why not a 5 star? The illustrations. I was sad to see Bink and Slinky and the general feel/look of the illustrations so different from the first book, Bink & Slinky's Ark Adventure. And I was also disappointed to see a cast of mostly white characters on the pages instead of characters who might have fit the actual racial make-up of the Israelites and Egyptians of the day. - 10/08/2019 

I’ve read the story of Joseph in Genesis many times but never thought of it from the perspective of two snails named Bink and Slinky until I read BINK AND SLINKY’S PYRAMID ADVENTURE. The well-crafted story combines rhyming verse which is fun for parents to read with Scripture and sound lessons and insights for every child (and their parent).The story moves along at a fast clip which is fun to read—and fun to read over and over (a necessity for a children’s book). The creative verse is combined with interesting illustrations from Kalpart. Woven into the text are seven life lessons which are explained in child-geared language in the final pages. There is a lot of Biblical wisdom and insight packed into these pages. I highly recommend BINK AND SLINKY’S PYRAMID ADVENTURE.W.   Her books are truly a gift from the Lord...they are well written and inspire so many people...I know these are for kids but the adults love them also...I have gotten all her books and will buy her her next one as soon as it comes out...they tell a biblical story through eyes of the snails and makes it so exciting every one will love them.... - 10/05/2019 

Bink and Slinky's Pyramid Adventure by Donna Frasinger is a delight to read and has great illustrations that flows with the story. The story itself, has really brought out of interest of our grand kids, and they want to learn how to read books themselves. What a fresh, charming perspective from which to tell the story of Christ's birth! Donna's poetic style is immediately mesmerizing, and you'll find yourself wanting to read it in character voices (you know you want to 😛 )

I quickly found myself gleefully lost in the Life Lessons following the story, where Donna brings fun and perhaps lesser known Biblical facts to light. LOADS of fun to read!

  My wife and I sat in bed last night and read a book together about two slimy snails. I thought, "How can God use a couple of imaginary snails?" Still thinking, "I guess if God can use a pickle and a tomato I suppose He can use a couple of snails named Bink and Slinky." And that He does! Bink and Slinky's Pyramid Adventure is one of the best children's books I've ever read. In form it reminds me of "Green Eggs & Ham" as the rhymes are very clever and intriguing. It's amazing how author Donna Frisinger weaves life's lessons and biblical principles throughout the story without losing any interest in the story itself. It all just fits. The pictures are large and colorful which enhance this inspired, wonderful book for children. - 10/07/2019

The story line is Bible based and the lessons learned and shared by these 2 traveling snails are fun to read and will keep the attention of little listeners as well as those able to read the story on their own. The illustrations and colors used are bright and fun and the pages are filled with background artwork so you can do search and see with the littlest of listeners. Will be a great gift for the upcoming Christmas season or even a fun "read to me please" grama book while keeping little ones busy while the kitchen is filled with Thanksgiving cooks! Her stories leave you spellbound!! Oh my golly, how will this end? Her books are written for “the younger set”, however you will find yourself being “drawn in”!!
